When you are facing an issue where you have a lack of self confidence, how much of the picture can you really see? I bet it’s not much at all. While you may think you see the whole picture clearly, my experiences tell me otherwise.

Be aware of your breathing. When you get nervous, your breathing tends to become shallow and quick. Slow down your breathing and breathe deeply from your stomach.

Don't worry about the outcome! When you're approaching women, just remind yourself the outcome of the conversation doesn't matter. If she doesn't want to talk to you, you haven't lost anything. If you're able to not care about succeeding, you'll be free to enjoy yourself.

If you look around, you will observe that confidence is very important and needed in relationships, careers and parenting. Building confidence is a continuous and long process, starting from the moment you first walked.

Physically reflect confidence. As you act out the physical characteristics of confidence, that same confidence will be projected in your voice. It will be present in all of the ways you present yourself, regardless of how you are interacting with others.

List your goals in baby steps. Instead of setting a goal to accomplish the whole thing at once, try breaking it down in tiny steps that need to meet each day. Each time you get to cross off the little steps, you gain more confidence in yourself and you'll empower yourself to reach the next step until you've achieved the primary goal.

Try to build confidence in speaking up in a crowd. Being able to speak up in front of a large crowd is a skill that not only requires confidence, but an ability to read people. You will need to gauge how well your jokes are working, how you should tweak your language to fit the needs of your audience, and how receptive your audience is to your manner and style of speaking.

The first way to build confidence is to groom yourself well and the reason why this works is that the better you look the more confident you feel about yourself. Try to go to the gym at least once a week and always try to dress well and smart, you should use perfume where possible. You would find that the way you feel you look would affect how confident you are when you want to talk to women.

You're probably familiar with the principle that says that when you've finally defined what the problem is, you're most of the way to solving it! People who seek confidence are actually seeking something that probably doesn't exist. For the majority of people the word confidence just means a lack of fear.

Know that you can handle anything. Experiences bring value that can improve the world. Hold a positive attitude from a much deeper place. Stay in faith. Get out of your head into a more soulful place where you connect with feelings, intuition, and follow that guiding gut instinct.
